Anthony Richardson Gives Indianapolis Fans Hope

Many wondered if the Colts pick of QB Anthony Richardson fourth overall was the way to go. Some thought he went way too soon. Yesterday, Richardson proved why he deserved to be selected and gave Colts fans a glimmer of hope.

Per Tony Holzman-Escareno of the NFL, Anthony Richardson is the youngest player (21 years, 111 days) in the Super Bowl era to score a pass TD and a rush TD in the same game.

Richardson shined in his debut compiling 24/37 (65%), 223 passing yards, 40 rushing yards, 2 total TD’s, 1 INT, with a 79.0 passer rating. The Colts may have lost the game, but Richardson gave Colts fans something to be excited about.
