Baker Mayfield’s First Preseason With The Buccaneers is a Success

Preseason football is officially here. This past offseason, the Buccaneers signed Baker Mayfield to a 1 year deal as Tom Brady retired. Yesterday, Baker Mayfield made his first start with the Buccaneers in preseason, and he didn't disappoint.

With it just being preseason, Baker Mayfield played just the first quarter. Mayfield did really good. He threw 8/9, 63 yards, 1 TD, and a passer rating of 132.9. Preseason football is a time for players to prove themselves, and Mayfield did exactly that yesterday.

Baker Mayfield will be taking the spot of Tom Brady at QB. No one will ever be able to replace Tom Brady. Although, Baker Mayfield is a pretty solid QB. It's going to be interesting how Baker Mayfield will play this year.
