It was announced that the Browns sent QB Joshua Dobbs and a 2024 seventh-round pick to the Cardinals in exchange for a 2024 fifth-round pick per Tom Pelissero. This trade marks the third trade the Cardinals have made in the last few days.

Dobbs was officially announced as the Browns backup QB, but was traded less than 12 hours later. The trade will reunited Dobbs with his former tight ends coach in Drew Petzing, the Cardinals new offensive coordinator.

Dobbs has spent three years in the league, compiling 456 yards with 2 touchdowns. It's unclear just how much time Dobbs will spend on the field in a Cardinals uniform, but he will look to revive his career in Arizona.
