Chiefs TE Injury Future Uncertain

Kansas City Chiefs head coach, Andy Reid, announced yesterday that superstar TE Travis Kelce hyper-extended his knee at practice yesterday and his status for Thursday night's opener against the Detroit Lions is uncertain, per Adam Schefter of the NFL.

Kelce is regarded as the game's best tight end and continues to show his talent at the highest level year in and year out. In 2022, Kelce compiled over 1,200 yards along with 12 touchdowns.

This is obviously a big blow to the Kansas City offense, however, it is also uncertain how long or how severe his injury is. The hope is that he'll be on the field
