Giants Trade For Former First Round Pick

Yesterday, the New York Giants and Arizona Cardinals announced that they have completed a trade. The Giants received S/LB Isiah Simmons in exchange for a 2024 seventh-round pick.

Simmons was drafted by the Cardinals in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Simmons has not completely transformed into the NFL player many expected after his dominanting college career at Clemson, but has been a bit "position-less"

Simmons has made the switch to becoming a safety and has played primarily four positions since making his NFL debut. With the Cardinals giving up on Simmons so quickly, he will fit right into Wink Martindale's system and will be the perfect project for Wink.
