The Detroit Lions signed former Dolphins QB, Teddy Bridgewater to a 1-year-deal. The Lions have been checking in on Teddy Bridgewater since March, maintaining steady interest. Finally, they agreed to a deal.
Teddy Bridgewater will fit great on the Detroit Lions as he will be a backup to Jared Goff. Obviously, with Bridgewater being a backup he didn't play much last year. Although, he's a nice backup to a starter like Jared Goff.
Teddy Bridgewater has always had a good history of being a solid quarterback. In 8 seasons, Bridgewater has thrown 75 TD's, 15,120 Yds, and he was a pro bowler in 2015.
It's always nice to have a backup like Teddy Bridgewater on your team. If Jared Goff gets injured, it still stinks, but then you have a solid backup in Teddy Bridgewater and that's exactly what the Detroit Lions needed.
