Patriots/Browns Complete Last Minute Trade Before Season

As teams are finishing their preseason cuts, the Patriots and Browns completed a last minute trade as everyone is gearing up for the 2023-2024 season. The Patriots sent RB Pierre Strong Jr. to the Browns in exchange for OT Tyrone Wheatley Jr.

With the lack of depth at the running back position for the Browns, Strong Jr. will slide in nicely in the Cleveland running back room. Strong's 2022 consisted of 100 yards with one touchdown.

Looking in at New England, Wheatley Jr. will fit into the Pats offensive line as a depth piece. Wheatley will likely get reps on the second teams or in the event of an injury.
