Raiders Sign RB as Jacobs Solution is not Resolved

The Raiders have been in a carousel with RB Josh Jacobs. Jacobs is obviously holding out as he wants a new contact, almost the same situation with the New York Giants and RB Saquon Barkley.

The Las Vegas Raiders signed RB Damien Williams for some insurance. Williams was out for most of 2022 with Atlanta, and last played a meaningful season in 2021 with Chicago.

Williams has rushed for 1397 yards in his career and rushed for 164 in 2021. The signing with Las Vegas seems to be a win-win situation for both parties. Williams gets his next chance as well as a chance to get meaningful playing time and Vegas gets their insurance with a solid RB.
