Saints Sign Former Giant LB
The Saints announced yesterday that they have signed former Giants Linebacker, Jaylon Smith. Smith had a solid season last year with Big Blue as he compiled 88 tackles on the year along with a sack.
Smith will likely find himself playing consistent reps especially with Demario Davis dealing with his calf injury. The Saints have plenty of experience at the linebacker position and the jury is still out on FA Anthony Barr.
The Saints secondary is expected to be around the middle of the league. Jaylon Smith will likely make enough of an impact in the secondary along with the other experienced linebackers.
