The NFL is Officially Back

The first game of the new season is in the books. It was between the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs. It was certainly an exciting game the whole time, and it was a close game.

The Detroit Lions took the first game of the year at a final score of 21-20. Both teams played a hard fought game. It was a good matchup to have to kickoff the new season.

For the Detroit Lions, the winners of this one. They had a total of 250 passing yards, 3 TD's, 0 INT, 118 rushing yards, and a total of 253 receiving yards. The Detroit Lions are primed to have a good season this year.

For the Kansas City Chiefs, the losers in this matchup. The main reason why the Kansas City Chiefs lost this one is obviously because they didn't have star TE, Travis Kelce. Another reason why is because their WR, Kadarius Toney had 5 drops. That's certainly going to have to change.

Both of these teams, the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs are going to have good seasons. Football is fun, exciting, and it's finally back. It's so good to have football back, and it's going to be such an exciting season.
